Outdoor Concerts

Worshiping God outdoors!! We thought we would share with you a couple of the events this summer and fall that have been held outdoors. When we were in New Mexico, First Baptist Church Farmington held a concert at Lions Wilderness Park. It was a beautiful setting overlooking Farmington, with striking views of the clear blue sky and the city below. In Centerville Ohio, Washington Heights Baptist Church, had a concert and picnic at Stubbs Park. The weather was perfect and we had a great time of worship. Before the concert started, a huge barbeque grill was setup directly in front of our bus, and the compelling aroma of grilling hamburgers and chicken reminded us to not get carried away with the concert.

Welcome Hiedi Jo Boudreaux

Hiedi Jo was born on February 18 at 9:50 pm. Mikah and Kynda are excited to join the the rest of the This Hopers and add another child to the current ten kids.

Well you get the idea. Thank you to all who came out to hear us over Christmas. We've never had a better turn out. The tour went well, and we had the privilege of seeing many come to Christ. It was good to see friends and family in Alaska and to sing in our home church up there. We hope you and your family were able to celebrate our Lord's birth and enjoy the season. We hope to see you down the road sometime in this new year!

This Hope Featured in an Episode of OMX

We recently had the opportunity to sing on OMX, a TV show that will be aired on FamilyNet in January or February 09. We will keep you up to date on when it will be aired. The series includes interviews, drama, Christian artists and more. FamilyNet is broadcast across the country with several providers. Check your local channels and listings for more info.

Touring The West

We just got home from a tour that included Minnesota, Colorado and New Mexico. The tour went well and we feel that God was able to use the concerts for His glory. The Lifeway conference was great and we were able to meet many new music pastors. We also had some time to play. Some good friends had us swimming, golfing, rafting and playing basketball. Thank you to the Stowells, Kornoeljes and Browns for the memorable trip. The photo above is us about to raft the Arkansas river. After several unintended swims, a few scrapes and some big waves (at least we thought they were big) we will never forget it.

Lifeway Worship Leadership Conference

On June 4th we had the opportunity to sing for hundreds of music pastors from around the southeast. It is always a treat to minister to those who minister. The conference went well and we made some new friends. We hope this will open many doors for us down the road.
